How to Get Along With Your Boyfriend's Best Friend

Sometimes you may not mesh well with your boyfriend's friends, however, they are a part of his life also so it is important for you to get to know them as well. Here is how you can get along with your boyfriend's best friend.
| 1. | Ask your boyfriend a little about his best friend. Ask what he likes, what he doesn't like, if he has any goals, family, what he likes to eat. Anything that your boyfriend knows, you want to know. |
| 2. | Invite his best friend over. Make sure your boyfriend is there as well. That could be a bad mistake if he's not! If you can cook, make something he would like to eat. If you can't, go out and get something. You may have to spend some money, but if you really want this to work, you won't mind. |
| 3. | Go to Blockbuster and rent a movie or video game that he would like. It is worth it to you to watch two hours of soldiers getting blown up, or aliens getting blown up, or something getting blown up. Make sure your boyfriend casually tells his friend that you picked out the movies or game. Let him know you can be on the same level. |
| 4. | Talk to him. Remember the things your boyfriend told you about him before. Use these things and start a conversation. |
| 5. | Play poker. Most men, not all, like poker and Texas Holdem is really big right now. Play a friendly game with poker chips, not money. If he isn't really winning, lose a little. You aren't swallowing your pride, you are making a friend out of your boyfriend's confidant. |
| 6. | When your night is over, tell him you were glad he came over and that you got to spend time together. Make him feel welcome to come back. |
