How to Set Up Two of Your Friends on a Date
HOW TO
Tags: Setting Up Friends, Dating, Relationships, Friends, Date, How, To, Cupid, Matchmaking, Lonely
Playing matchmaker can not only be fun but very rewarding. If you have two friends who are just "perfect" for each other here is how to set them up on a date.
| 1. | Find out whether the two of them are compatible. |
| 2. | Make sure neither of them is in another relationship. |
| 3. | Arrange for the two to meet in a non-pressure environment, such as a party or group outing. |
| 4. | Do not push either of them towards the other but instead create opportunities whereby they can talk without feeling as if they are under a microscope. |
| 5. | If things are going well try not to blurb about how much one friend likes the other, whatever they say to you about the other should be confidential. |
| 6. | If they begin arranging dates do not make a big deal by telling everyone that they are now an item. |
| 7. | In the event that either one decides they are not interested do not keep trying to get them together. It will be embarrassing for both. |

Great ideas. Only the two people I want to set up happen to be my sister and one of my fiance's best friends. My fiance brought it up originally, and I agreed when I met him. Unfortunately it isn't something that I can arrange to happen "naturally." :( Comment by: hakkai_sensei
