A leaning tower is a tower which, due to errors in design or construction or to subsequent external influence, does not stand perpendicular to the ground. The most famous of these is the Leaning Tower of Pisa in the Italian city of Pisa. These are some other leaning towers around the world (Americas, Europe and Asia):
