Personally, I have lived in Columbus nearly my entire life. There are many interesting sites and lots of different things to do. Here are some facts you might not have known about this great American city.

	Elevation 902 ft (275 m)
	Population (2005) : City 730,657, Density 3,383.6/sq mi (1,306.4/km²) Metro 1,708,625
	Time zone EST (UTC-5)

	According to Morgan Quitno, in 2006 Columbus was the 9th most dangerous out of 32 cities with a population of 500,000 or more, though it has never been ranked among top 25 overall.
	Columbus is the home of two public colleges: The Ohio State University, the largest college campus in the United States and Columbus State Community College.
	Private institutions located in Columbus include the Columbus College of Art and Design, DeVry University, and Franklin University, as well as the religious schools Mount Carmel College of Nursing, Ohio Dominican University, Pontifical College Josephinum, and Trinity Lutheran Seminary.
	Two major suburban schools also have an influence on Columbus' educational landscape: Bexley's Capital University and Westerville's Otterbein College.
