Those adds online which advertise that they can help you eliminate your debts can be quit tempting to click on, especially during the time of the month when the bills start pilling up. However, you need to be very careful when getting involved with some of these internet agencies. Below are some great tips to keep you safe.

	Research - Know who you are doing business with.
	Things to Know - Obtain the name, address, and telephone number of the individual or company.
	Google Them - Research the individual or company to ensure they are authentic.
	BBB - Contact the Better Business Bureau to determine the legitimacy of the company.
	International Issues - Be cautious when dealing with individuals outside of your own country.
	Read the Fine Print - Ensure you understand all terms and conditions of any agreement.
	Real Addresses - Be wary of businesses that operate from P.O. boxes or maildrops.
	Referrals - Ask for names of other customers of the individual or company and contact them.
	Don't Believe the Hype - If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
