Is Your Child Involved in a Gang?

One of the scariest thoughts as a parent is that any harm may come to your children. If your child is involved in a gang they are not only doing illegal things which are hurting other people but they are putting them in a situation in which their own health and future are at stake. Here is a list of signs that your child may be involved in a gang.

	Admits to "hanging out" with kids in a gang.
	Shows an interest in one or two particular colors of clothing.
	Has an unusual interest in gangster-influenced movies, videos, music, or websites.
	Uses unusual hand signals to communicate with friends.
	Has specific drawings or gang symbols on books, clothes, walls, or tattoos.
	Comes home with unexplained physical injuries.
	Has unexplained cash or goods, such as clothing or jewelry.
	Carries a Weapon.
	Has been in trouble with the police.
	Exhibits negative changes in behavior.
