Cyber crime is not just something that you need to worry about at home, you also need to think about protecting yourself at work. Here are some great ways that you can protect yourself from crime online.
| | make your passwords complex. Use a combination of letters, symbols, and numbers (upper and lowercase) |
| | Change your password regularly (every 45-90 days) |
| | Do NOT give anyone your user names, passwords, or other computer/website access codes. |
| | Do NOT open email attachments from strangers. |
| | Do NOT install or connect any personal software or hardware to your organization's network or hardware without permission from your IT department. |
| | Make electronic and physical backups of all your most important work. |
| | Report all unusual or suspicious problems with your computer to your IT department. |
