The first Moon landing by a human was that of the United States' Neil Armstrong, commander of the Apollo 11 mission, accompanied by Edwin 'Buzz' Aldrin on July 20, 1969. Where were you and what were you doing when it happened?

	I was on a camping trip with my family when the first moon landing occurred. We listened on a radio during a thunderstorm and it was years later that I realized the poor reception wasn't all because of the storm. The reality of the landing took awhile to sink in.
	I was a little kid but i will always remember them saying "Watch this, It's history in the making."
	The earliest "big" event that I remember was the first moon landing. I was pretty young but profoundly impressed.
