Anywhere in the world Nike is a symbol of athletiscim. Although they have had some controversial business practices in the past they still make an incredible pair of sneakers.

	The current CEO and president of the company is Mark Parker
	In 2006 these guys racked in 15 billion dollars
	Nike employees 26,700 people
	Best known phrase: "Just Do It"
	Best known symbol: The "Swoosh" symbol
	Nike is the number ONE supplier of sportswear in the World.
	Little known info, they also own Bauer, Cole Haan, Hurley and Converse.
	Most memorable spokesman: Michael Jordan (Who didn't own a pair of Air Jordan's?)
	Although they are not as popular as they were in the early 90s when they had Jordan as their spokesman, Nike is still THE athletic shoe to have.
	This is the shoe for you basketballers out there!
	If you blow up in sports, Nike is the company to sign an endorsement deal with!
	Although, they have had some sticky situations in the past, with allegations of the use of sweatshops to create their infamous shoes. In fact, Nike has been featured in various documentaries criticizing their business practices.
