Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

Here's a quick and easy recipe for delicious chocolate chip cookies.
| | Ingredients |
| | 1 cup shortening |
| | 1 cup brown sugar |
| | 2 tsp vanilla |
| | 2 cup white flour |
| | 1/2 tsp baking powder |
| | 1/4 tsp salt |
| | 1/4 cup water |
| | 1 1/2 cup chocolate chips

| | Directions |
| | Beat shortening for 30 seconds |
| | Add brown sugar and continue to beat until it is well blended |
| | Add vanilla and mix well |
| | Mix in the baking powder, salt and flour |
| | Beat thouroughly |
| | Mix in water, followed by the chocolate chips |
| | Use a teaspoon to place scoops of batter on cookie sheet |
| | Bake at 350 for 10 minutes |
| | Cool on a wire rack

| | Makes about 54 cookies |
