Here's where republican presidential hopeful John McCain stands on the issues.

	Abortion: Prosecute abortion doctors, not women who get them. Overturn Roe v. Wade, but keep incest & rape exceptions.
	Budget/Economy: Apply surplus to Social Security, Medicare, tax cuts & debt.
	Civil Rights: Leave gay marriage to the states. Affirmative action OK for specific programs, but no quotas.
	Crime: More death penalty; stricter sentencing.
	Drugs: Prevention & education apply to alcohol as well as marijuana.
	Education: Teach virtues in all schools. Good teachers should earn more than bad lawyers. Decisions on teaching evolution should be made locally.
	Energy/Oil: Supports alternative fuels, emission controls, & CWA.
	Environment: Preserve and help our National Parks.
	Families/Children: Label violent media products like we label cigarettes.
	Foreign Policy: Overthrow “rogue” governments to keep Americans safe. Africa: Money for AIDS would be lost to corruption.
	Free Trade: Against foreign sales corporations (offshore tax breaks). Free trade with any country except security risks.
	Gun Control: Ban cheap guns; require safety locks; for gun show checks. Supports ban on certain assault weapons.
	Health Care: Higher taxes on cigarettes. Expand health insurance to 11 million uninsured children.
	Homeland Security: Keep “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy - it works.
	Immigration: Make possible for immigrants to do a job Americans won't do. Give everyone in the world an opportunity to come to America.
	Jobs: Ethanol bad for environment & bad for consumers.
	Social Security: Trust Fund is a ticking time bomb, set to go off in 2014.
	Tax Reform: Double child tax credit; add family incentives.
	War: Send in a heavy wave of troops to Iraq to establish order.
	Poverty: More housing assistance; tax breaks against homelessness.
