Interior design has become a hot profession in recent years, due in part, it seems, to the onslaught of television shows and other media dedicated solely to improving living and commercial spaces. The most successful interior designers share a certain set of qualities that separate them from the others. Can you think of any others?

| 2. | COMMITMENT TO CLIENT SERVICES: have excellent client service skills and be committed to making the interior design process an easy one for the client. Be open to answering questions and developing a trusting relationship with clients. |
| 3. | EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS: have excellent communication skills and communicate well with clients, vendors, and others involved in the process. Communication is important to ensure the work being performed is what the client is anticipating. |
