With films such as "Bobby", "Disturbia" and "The Battle of Shaker Heights" under his belt, and "Transformers" due for a box office smash, Shia LaBeouf is slated to become a major movie star. Did you know these things?

1.	His name means "thank God for beef". (Shia= gift from God, LaBeouf= beef)
2.	His dad used to train chickens for the circus.
3.	Shia began Grassy Slope Films, which helps new filmmakers start in the business, with his longtime friend Lorenzo Eduardo. Filmmaking has been a long time hobby of Shia's. He once made a short film about a boy with a lobster as a pet.
4.	Shia is "very serious" about his career and has made "a calculated effort to stay away from the party scene", stating, "if the industry takes you lightly because you're always partying, then they will take your work lightly as well".
