With the announcement by Dan Patrick that he is retiring from ESPN in August after 18 memorable years, here is a list of the top 5 ESPN sportscasters of all time.

1.	Dan Patrick- The legend, Patrick helped give credibility and entertainment to a new medium of television. Along with partner Keith Olbermann, he helped establish the ESPN brand around the world.
2.	Keith Olbermann- Patrick's partner in crime, Olbermann added personality and flare to the profession of sports reporting and helped influence the ESPN attitude.
3.	Chris Berman- Who can't recite a couple Bermanisms? His entertaining style made wathcing football highlights a treat each Sunday.
4.	Craig Kilborn- Kilborn brought a comedic quality to the role of SportsCenter Anchor, allowing other anchors to follow to try and match his wit and sense of humor.
5.	Charlie Steiner- The sight of Steiner covering a ridiculous sports story all the while trying to contain his laughter was nothing but pure entertainment for the viewer.
