Apple's Steve Jobs has announced the release of a new 6th-Gen iPod with touchscreens like the new Apple iPhones. Here are some of the rumors, facts and buzz about it:
| | Apple is preparing to launch a next-generation video iPod in Jan. '08 (some reports say as early as August '07) that feature a touch-screen panel similar to the iPhone, according to DigiTimes. |

Screw the iPhone! I will just keep my current phone (since it is just a phone!) and get this to do everything else!
Comment by: Pratt I have no faith in touchscreens. Here's what happens when you drop one: the screen breaks. When your iPhone screen is broken, good luck receiving or making calls. I know a guy who dropped a touchscreen phone two feet onto carpet and the screen broke.
