Is America ready for David Beckham? The international soccer superstar is set to play with the LA Galaxy on July 23rd and hopefully start a film career soon after. Here's what some people know and think about the soon-to-be stud of American grass.

	Born in London, England. Rumors of immaculate conception "unproven."

	Married to former Spice Girl, Posh Spice. As Austin Powers would say, "Yeah Baby!"
	Has 3 sons, Brooklyn Joseph Beckham (born 1999), Romeo James Beckham (2002) and Cruz David Beckham (2005). Look for the media to follow their lives as closely as Princes Harry and William.
	Should fit right into the Hollywood life style. Might fit in too well.
	"Elvis" and "David" have the same number of letters in them. Coincidence?!?
	Beckham spent long hours on the training pitch honing his talents to perfection, particularly his trademark free kick.
	In 2007, the Beckhams reportedly were paid $13.7 million to launch their fragrance line in the US.
