Katherine Heigl is in the celebrity news more and more often, and for good reason. Here is a short list about her and her life. Please feel free to add your own facts about her.

	She was born November 24, 1978 in Washington D.C.
	She is the youngest of five kids
	She lived in Virginia and then Denver before her family settled in Connecticut for the rest of her childhood
	She was signed as a child model at the age of 9
	TV soon followed, appearing in commercials such as Cheerios
	Television jobs soon followed, the first in a national spot for Cheerios cereal. Movie credits include That Night, King of the Hill, My Father the Hero, Under Siege 2: Dark Territory, The Tempest, Bride of Chucky, Evil Never Dies, The Ringer,
	She also was in Disney's TV movie Wish Upon a Star, the TV drama Roswell, and Critical Assembly
	She was voted one of FHM's annual "100 Sexiest Women in the World"
	Recently she is known for her role as intern Dr. Isobel "Izzie" Stevens on Grey's Anatomy, in which she was nominated for Golden Globe.
	She was recently in the independent film Side Effects, and in 2006 she filmed Knocked Up, a comedy from writer/director Judd Apatow, starring opposite Seth Rogen. Upon its June 2007 theatrical release, the film received largely positive reviews from critics, and proved to be a box office success.
	Heigl was previously in a relationship with actor Jason Behr, and in June 2006, she became engaged to singer Josh Kelley whom she met on the set of his music video for "Only You." They are to be married on December 23, 2007.
