This is a list of the best places to visit while in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, a place we lived/wer stationed at for 4 years!
| 1. | Bricktown : Right near downtown Oklahoma City, this is a little district with cute shops, cafes, and a boat ride with the city's history! |
| 2. | The Oklahoma City Zoo: Rated #3 in the entire nation, we were surprised to find how amazing this zoo was. LOTS of animals of different variety, and educational classes. If you live nearby, they are always doing great things (like their annual Trick Or Treat Event). |
| 3. | Cowboy Museum: Okay, I admit, when I first heard the name, I thought, "How great/interesting could THIS possibly be? Especially for th kids?!" I was totally wrong. There is so much history and so many fun exhibits, that I encourage everyone to check it out! |
| 4. | The Oklahoma City Memorial: A dedication to the 1995 bombing victims. Wonderful. |
| 5. | Myriad Botanical Gardens: Gotta check out the inside Greenhouse. It's AMAZING. Like walking in the jungle! |
| 6. | Abuelos Mexican Restaurant: For great Mexican food. |
| 7. | Zios: Great Italian food |
| 8. | Omniplex/Omnidome: This place is awesome, especially for kids. I wish we had bought a membership when we lived there. They have traveling exhibits (Titanic, Norman Rockwell, etc); an IMAX theatre, and tons of science stuff (NOTE: Hands on for kids!!!!) |
| 9. | Penn Square Mall: For cool shopping! |
