How to Clear Up Clutter

Use these steps to make your home clutter-free:
| | Work on only one room at a time |
| | Select one section of the room to begin. |
| | Don't feel as if you have to get everything done in one day. As long as you keep working on it, even a little bit every day, you will see the results of your labor pretty soon. |
| | Get four boxes/bins and label them "To Keep," "For Sale," "To Donate," and "Trash" |
| | Sort your items into the corresponding bins |
| | Have a friend or family member to help you decide on items you are unsure you should keep |
| | From the "Keep Pile", group together similar items |
| | Think ahead of how you will be using the items |
| | Place items you use often in easy reach |
| | Store items you use seasonally on high shelves or in underbed boxes |
| | Enjoy your new room! You will feel much more peaceful and relaxed in your new environment! |
