Ziva David is a fictional character in the TV series, NCIS, played by Cote de Pablo. The character was introduced to the series in the third season premiere. de Pablo became a regular cast member from episode "Silver War" onwards. One ongoing idiosyncrasy Ziva possesses is her tendency to misuse English idioms, much to the amusement of her teammates. Those malapropisms are sometimes referred to as Ziva-isms by fans of the TV series. These are some of those Ziva-isms
