  •
  • Killer Startups - ListAfterList would have been the perfect site for Cliff from Cheers ("it"s a little known fact that...") to shine. For example, did you know that Spiderman-3 had the largest weekend opening in box office history? Maybe you did, but did you know what was second? Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man"s Chest. That is the type of information one can find on this site. ListafterList has only user-generated content, allowing anyone and everyone to create their own list of any subject. You can also start a list and allow others to add to it (called a "wiki list" for web geeks...like wikipedia). The range of lists range from the mundane ("100 Most Common Words") to the useful (ie, "How to Quite Smoking"). They categorize all the lists, profile users, post the most popular lists, and link lists to each other.

  • zimaleah501 at "Oh, Hell..." - This fun site is where I've been spending lots of my time lately, in the 5 mins before work, or during commercials of a tv show. Everyone enjoys rankings, as they are amusing, often suprising, and they separate the best from the worst in a tangible way. I particularly like the variety of lists on the site, and it's user-friendly layout. It is simple entertainment that never gets old. Try it, it's addictive!
  •
  • SEO Bro - Do you have listmania? Want to find the best pizzeria in Chicago? Best scary movies? Good hiking trails in Texas? Well, listafterlist.com is the place for you. It has all kinds of list with the best places. You can sign up for free and search the lists. This is one of the best web sites on the net. It does not matter if you are looking for childrens toys or good vacation sites in Wyoming, listafterlist has you covered. Remember to put this web site on your list.

  • And a free toaster... - ListAfterList.com is a cool site that lets users make and share lists. Though it’s new, users have posted lists on a wide variety of subjects. What makes it interesting is that many of the lists are wikis. That means that everyone can add and edit them. It’s worth checking out (even if their site could use a bit of a redesign).

  • Notes from a fossil - Listafterlist.com is a fun place to make lists, see lists, and share lists. Anyone can join up and create your own "Top 10" list and more. You can tag your list as "informative", "best", "worst", "delicious" (food), "favorites", and "in the past". This site is NOT really for your grocery list, or laundry list of to-do's. It's not a mini-project managment site, or personal organizer. Some of the lists are very entertaining and can be either valuable or laugh-out-loud funny. It does have a search function and tag cloud if you are searching for a list on a special topic. Just remember that they will let anyone create a list, even a fossil. Have fun

  • Amit at MyCoolWebsites - Just a few days back, I found this very unique website...www.ListAfterList.com. As you must have guessed, this website lets you create list about anything and everything. The interface is very simple and easy to understand. After registration (which again is straight forward), you can create a list. The lists can be about anything..the only condition is that it should follow the LAL conditions (pretty simple rules). You can edit any list where you feel you can contribute. Imagine having a list of: 101 Sexiest Bods, Leap Year Facts and History, Different Editions of Monopoly Boards, The Best Little Pleasures in the World all at one place... One of the best sites to have in your Favorites list

  • Jane's E-Learning Pick of the Day - Do you like making lists and sharing them with others? If so, you might like ListAfterList.
  •
  • Jeb Phillips at the Columbus Dispatch - Here's the thing: Life is a mess. It's complicated and all over the place. Sometimes you want to know the best kinds of diapers, then the next day you might want five steps to great abs, but on Saturday you would have liked a recipe for a good Cinco de Mayo drink. The Internet can help, but here's the other thing: The Internet is a mess, too. So much information is available. Filtering it can be a problem. That's the thinking, anyway, of the founders of a new Web site based near Upper Arlington, ListAfterList.com. ...

Timely, topical or just plain fun, these lists pick up on the pulse of the people. Go to http:www.listafterlist.com and join in to become a lister. The site is well organized and accessible. • A Shifty Shallot - Maybe you'd go to this site just for fun and maybe you have always dreamed of being an author, even if only of a list, but www.listafterlist.com is fun! What kind of lists are there? Pretty much if you can think of it, there's a category for it. The official ones are: Best, birthdays, celebrities, college, current events, deaths, famous, food, football, health, help, history, movies, music, news, obituaries, people, quotes, said, songs, tips, top, top 10, tv and words. And that, my friends, is a partial list! You also have pets and politics, and trivia and science and religion- well, you get the general idea. If none of the given categories fit, there's even an "everything else" topic to fall back on. Within the categories you can customize what the list is about, from "emergency toilet paper options" to "the sweatiest cities in America." And yes, those are real lists. Sign up is free and

  • VintageGent's Daily - It's time for a break for something a little lighter... From time to time I find a website that catches my interest. In the 1980s, there was a series of books called "Sign in Please" and "Sign in Again, Please." The principle was simple, you filled in the answers to questions the book polled you and your friends, like "list your friend's names" or favorite shows....

  • Who Loves Lists? by Sophie S - To do lists aren't any fun, but all the other lists are great. Sometimes I wonder why people have such a huge urge to create lists, lists of our favorite movies, songs, foods, lists of the top ten bands, top ten chick flicks, top ten websites to make money. Is it that our lists make us feel included? Anyway, if you are like me and you love lists then you are going to love the website http://www.listafterlist.com/. List after list is just that, lists after lists after lists. Sure they are arranged and categorized, but the sheer volume and idea behind each list is only limited by the people who sign on to make them.

  • Miss Cellania at Mental Floss - Crazy Things You Can Say to Get Everyone’s Attention. The first one was posted as a headline on a popular aggregator site and got quite a few phone numbers in comments from true believers.

  • JustJellyfish - ListAfterList uses the Wikipedia method of organizing content on the web, relying on it's users to help them collectively amass & post a wealth of list-based knowledge. Whether it's a list of the Coolest Places to Visit in Vegas, or the Current Republican Candidates for the Presidential Race 2008, ListAfterList has it all. Users can easily sign up and login to create their own lists - even things like Top 10 Songs To Listen to When I'm Sad. While I'm not sure how much value others will place on that particular user's list of sad songs, it does provide an outlet for the voyeurs among us. One click leads to another, and another, and another and before you know it, you've spent an hour looking at Even More Dead Lawyer Jokes and Top 10 Cleveland Browns Games Since 1980. Who knew there were 10?! Check out http://www.ListAfterList. But watch out, it's addictive!

  • O3Man - Here is an exciting new website for you.Do you like looking for lists. Like the best restaurants in Boston? Or the coolest clubs in NYC? Well, listafterlist has a list for you. This unique website is all about lists. All kinds of lists that you can think of. Yes, even lists about subjects that we never would imagine. So check out listafterlist… It will make you laugh, or at least smile a bit. In fact, listafterlist should be on a list – of the world’s best websites. This is so easy to use. You can register for free and find out the most amazing things. You can not only look at a list you can also add your own list. One of my favorite lists is a compilation of movies that will survive the Hollywood Writer's Strike.

  • Quick Reviews - This is an interesting site. They have lists about anything you can think of as the name would imply as well as a link to allow you to create your own lists. Some are helpful about household interests or movies and entertainment others are more humorous, such as "Top Ten Reasons Cell Phone Companies Suck". If you have time to browse through all the available topics you can find a list about anything that you are interested in. Taking the time to create your own lists on Listafterlist.com can be worth it if you want to give others useful information or a good laugh. Take time out to visit it at http://www.listafterlist.com/.

  • Jivvies - this site is just such a cool timewaster! It's ListAfterList.com and there are lists for everything. Best paying jobs, most career sacks, and I found a nice one full of movie quotes. You can surf random lists if you just want to kill ten minutes. You can start your own lists. You can contribute to someone else's lists. Lists are categorized for convenience, everything from amusing to informative to scary. Yes, scary is a category. For me, the best part is being able to go from list to list to list to list. Each one will have a few links at the bottom that lead to connected lists. Sometimes this link is pretty tenuous, so it can lead you to strange places. I'm not entirely sure how, but I started with facts about Angelina Jolie and ended with a list of why to hate Wal-Mart. Now, the bad part. Each list is bordered top and bottom, right and left with ads... ...I give it 4 out of 5 geek smilies. :)
