People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive Winners

Currently an annual feature, the Sexiest Man Alive designation by the magazine is billed as a benchmark of male beauty. It is determined in a similar procedure to Time's Person of the Year. The origin of the expression was a female editor's suggestion on what to title a cover photo of Mel Gibson.
